Kim loves the transformation that takes place on the yoga mat. Her study and exploration as a student of yoga and mind-body movement began after noticing a change in high school PE students and herself while teaching the yoga unit. The ease of being along with improved strength, body control, and flexibility was profound.
She has a background in wellness and fitness with a BA in Physical Education from Illinois State Univ. Her yoga certifications include a 200 RYT Hatha teacher training from Chicago Yoga Center, Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley and Rest and Renew Yoga Teacher training with Judith Hanson Lassiter. Kim’s yoga classes focus on alignment and movement with the breath to encourage the development of individual awareness. She looks forward to meeting students on their yoga journey.
